How the maths works
Three simple sums
Discount
Chit amount × bid %. Example: ₹1,00,000 × 10% = ₹10,000.
Winner receives
Chit amount − discount. Example: ₹1,00,000 − ₹10,000 = ₹90,000.
Dividend
(Discount − 5% commission) ÷ members. Example: (₹10,000 − ₹5,000) ÷ 10 = ₹500.
